Transportation Improvement District
The Fairfield County TID improves the county's transportation system to support jobs, economic opportunity, and the welfare of the people within the district and the State.
The purpose of the TID is to improve the transportation system in Fairfield County in order to contribute to the creation or preservation of jobs and employment opportunities and the improvement of economic welfare of the people within the area of the TID and the State. The TID may acquire, construct, enlarge, improve, equip, sell, lease, lease-purchase, exchange, or otherwise dispose of property, structures, and facilities for projects undertaken in accordance with Sections 5540.01 to 5540.17 of the Ohio Revised Code.
