Requirements for New Metes and Bounds Descriptions and Plats of Survey.
All new surveys, metes and bounds descriptions, and plats of survey not previously recorded must be prepared by a registered Professional Surveyor and must be in compliance with the Ohio Administrative Code, Chapter 4733-37.
Checked items will be required to be revised by the Professional Surveyor.

Only monuments on the above list are approved road intersection monuments which can be referenced, as a point of beginning, on a new survey. A monument at a road intersection may be added to this list if it is referenced to a section corner or section 1/4 corner, is shown on a centerline plat on file at the Fairfield County Engineer's Office, and is approved by the County Engineer.
