Press Release: October 14, 2025Anytime a revaluation occurs, it necessitates a review of the tax rates that are used to calculate taxes against. In general, as properties increase in value, the tax rate will be adjusted downward for the area. This adjustment ensures that there is not an overcollection on certain types of levies. The State of Ohio typically reissues tax rates around late December.
