Fairfield County Utilities Department - Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the Fairfield County Utilities Department supply my electricity or gas?

A: No. We deal strictly with water and sanitary sewer services. Consult a neighbor if you are not sure who handles your
      Electricity.

Q: If I fill my pool, how much will that raise my sewer bill, or could I have that amount deducted from it?

A: Our sewer bill is a flat rate as designated on the rate table, and so whether you use 1 cup of water or 2 million
gallons, the sewer fee will always be the same for residential customers. This is due to the fact that not all of our
customers have water service with us.

Q: Do I send my bill payments to your office at 210 E Main St. in Lancaster?

A: No, we do not accept payments at this office. Send your payments to:
Fairfield County Utilities PO Box 2221 Lancaster, OH 43130-2221

Payments can also be made at three Fairfield National Bank locations:
     www.officialpayments.com Jurisdiction code 4585
Main Office, 143 W. Main, Lancaster
     Meijer Office, 2900 Columbus-Lancaster Rd.
Pickerington Kroger Office, 1045 Hill Road N

Q: Does Fairfield County Utilities offer any type of electronic bill paying, or direct withdrawal services?

A: Yes, we are currently able to accept payments online at www.officialpayments.com or pay by phone at 1-800-272-9829. Our jurisdiction code is 4585.
