Fairfield County Common Pleas Court - Court Dockets
The General Division of the Fairfield County Common Pleas Court handles both civil and criminal matters.

The Civil Docket
Cases dealing with issues which include, but are not limited to, personal injury claims, contract disputes, property damage disputes, and other various civil causes of action claiming damages over $25,000.000.

The Criminal Docket
Cases dealing with felonies and some misdemeanors committed by adult offenders.

Specialized Dockets
Recovery Court, also known as Drug Court, supervises a caseload of approximately 30 felony offenders who have entered into a contract with the court for an intensively supervised program which usually continues for 24 months.
Re-Entry Court supervises a caseload of approximately 35 felony offenders. These offenders are returning to the community from incarceration, either local jail incarceration or State prison.
