Fairfield County Auditor Carri Brown is pleased to announce the completion of the National Association of Counties (NACO) High Performance Leadership Academy by 100% of Auditor’s Office 31 employees. The office is the first in the country to have 100% of employees graduate from the program.

The Current Agricultural Use Value program provides tax relief on agricultural land by ensuring that qualified properties are appraised based on production capacity of the soil, as opposed to the land’s market value. Thus, value is dependent upon soil type, region, slope, and erosion factors of the land.
