Check with neighbors to see if their pet is missing. Knocking on a few doors often is the quickest route to a happy reunion.
Check for tags or identification.
If the animal has no ID, take her to a local veterinarian or bring her to FCDACS to be scanned for a microchip.
Always report a found pet to FCDACS and other area shelters.
