Hearing Procedures: Common Questions at Hearing

In cases wherein the owner appears as the complainant, the following questions are often posed to the owner complainant: 

  • the name and address of the witness;
  • whether the witness is the owner of the subject property;
  • whether there are any other owners of the subject property;
  • whether the witness is a licensed Ohio appraiser;
  • whether the witness is a licensed Ohio real estate agent;
  • if the owner is a corporate or other legal entity, the relationship between the entity and the owner; 
  • whether he/she filed the complaint and any other documents submitted.
