HOLIDAYS
The buses WILL NOT BE IN SERVICE on the following holidays in 2024: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day.
TRIPS OUT OF TOWN
Limited trips to out of town are available with a 48 hour reservation as space permits.
DEVIATED FIXED ROUTE (LOOP) FARES
- General Public: $0.50
- Mobility Program: $0.25
- Transfers: $0.10
RESERVATIONS
- ADVANCE TRIP REQUESTS
All trips are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. Advanced reservations may be made up to 14 days in advance and must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Advanced reservations means that you are picked up within a 30-minute window, and you receive the lowest eligible fare.
RESERVATIONS ARE ACCEPTED MONDAY-FRIDAY FROM 8:00AM-4:00PM by calling 740-681-5086 or ONLINE. (For first time users of our self service please contact our office for initial set up.)
- SAME-DAY RESERVATIONS
We understand that personal commitments and schedules may not always allow you to schedule your ride in advance. In such instances, Lancaster-Fairfield Public Transit offers a same-day reservation service, subject to availability.
Please note that same-day reservations, if space permits, may result in extended pick-up wait times. While LFPT aims to pick up same-day rides within 60 minutes, we cannot guarantee arrival times. Additionally, the fare for same-day reservations is slightly higher than for advanced reservations (please refer to our fare information).
We kindly ask you to complete our Feedback Form after your trip, as your input helps us maintain high-quality service for the residents of our city.
DEVIATED FIXED ROUTES (LOOPS)
Lancaster-Fairfield Public Transit offers five deviated-fixed routes that run hourly loops Monday-Friday with numerous stops each hour. There are no reservations required, simply be at the stop prior to each stop time (posted) and have your exact fare ready.
