Today the State of Ohio is announcing the launch of four new small business grant programs:
- Food and Beverage establishment Grant
- Lodging Grant
- Entertainment Venue Grant
- And New Small Business Grant (for businesses that started in 2020)
These grants range from up to $10,000 to $30,000. Businesses will be limited in applying for one of the above programs. Please see the attached program briefings.
Applications will go live on Tuesday morning. More details to come.

The City of Lancaster’s Community Development Block Grant CARES Act (CDBG-CV) was established to provide financial assistance to existing local small businesses to maintain operations and retain jobs throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ohio Home Relief Grant Opportunity (OHRG) offers rent, mortgage and water and sewer assistance. The State of Ohio has designated a portion of the CARES funding to help low-income Ohioans who have fallen behind on their rent, mortgage, and water bills. This program will help families and individuals in Fairfield County, Ohio that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Individuals must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Proposed $429.5M of CARES Act Funding to Benefit Small Businesses, Bars, and Restaurants. The State of Ohio has released Cares Act funds in the form of two new grant opportunities, Small Businesses Relief Grant and Bar and Restaurant Assistance Fund. These grant opportunities are open to eligible businesses - applications will be accepted online starting Monday, November 2nd and will be first come first serve.
