Real Estate Assessment Director
David Burgei began his public service career with Fairfield County in early 1994.
He currently serves as the Real Estate Assessment Director, a position he has held since January 2022, after serving as the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Real Estate Manager for over ten years. He joined the Auditor’s Office in 1999 as the GIS Manager. Prior to his roles in the Auditors office, David worked with the Fairfield County Regional Planning Commission.
As the Real Estate Assessment Director, David oversees the daily operations of the Real Estate, Geographic Information Systems and Mapping departments, as well was the Board of Revision.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning from the University of Cincinnati. He also holds a GISP certificate from the GIS Certification Institute.
David enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa and their three daughters. In his spare time, you can find him outdoors, playing sports, woodworking and playing golf (whenever he can).
