- Pickerington Public Library, a public library serving the territory of the Pickerington Local School District, located within Fairfield and Franklin Counties, is placing an additional 1.5 mill levy on the ballot for November 3, 2026. This additional levy is for the purpose of supporting current expenses of the library. Collections for the additional levy, if passed, will be for a continuing term starting with the 2026 tax year, and the tax will first be collected in calendar year 2027.
- The additional tax is to be levied upon the entire territory of the Pickerington Local School District.
- For a property owner with a home of an appraised market value at $100,000, the annual estimated tax for the additional levy is $53.
- If voters pass the proposed additional levy, an estimated $4,104,440 will be collected annually.
- The estimates are based on current assessed valuations of real estate.
