Fairfield County continues to participate in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Community Development Allocation program, administered by the Ohio Development Services Agency.  The RPC, by contract with the Fairfield County Board of Commissioners, prepares the annual application to the program and conducts the county’s Fair Housing program.  Community Development Allocation Grants are determined by dividing the number of low- and moderate-income (LMI) persons residing in the community by the total number of LMI persons residing in the non-entitlement areas of the state multiplied by the amount of CDBG Program funds allocated to the Community Development Allocation Program for the year.  In 2013, the county received $162,000 from the Ohio Development Services Agency to undertake projects.
