Judy Shupe is serving her 5^th term as Fairfield County Commissioner, having first taken office January 2, 1993.  Prior to becoming a Commissioner she served as Clerk of Madison Township for over 13 years.  Judy also has 11 years accounting experience in the banking industry.

 

In her role as Commissioner, Judy serves on numerous committees including Workforce Investment, Resource Conservation and Development, Prevention Works for a  Drug Free Fairfield  County, OSU Extension Advisory, Geographic Information System Committee, and Revolving Loan, and Tax Incentive Review Council, to name a few.

 

Dedicated to serving the residents of Fairfield County, Judy attends workshops and seminars to learn more about every aspect of county government.  Membership in professional organizations such as the County Commissioners Association of Ohio allows for networking and exchange of information which enhance the services provided by the Commissioners� office.

 

Judy lives near Amanda and has a daughter, Haley, who is a physical therapist and a son, Andrew, an electrical engineer at Wright Patterson.  She enjoys her 6 grandchildren and her dog Buster.
